Further new National Broadband Network (NBN) sites will be rolled out in the Cunningham electorate following the release of the NBN Co three-year roll-out plan, Federal Member for Cunningham, Sharon Bird, announced today.
“This is further great news for the local communities in my electorate. I have been determined to ensure that as many local suburbs, homes and businesses, can be connected to the NBN with 21st century, faster, reliable broadband technology as soon as possible.
“This announcement today confirms that many more local suburbs in my electorate will be connected to the NBN over the next three years. “This is in addition to the roll-out that will take place in Wollongong and Corrimal, starting in July 2012.
“The only threat to the future of the NBN connection in my electorate is from the Liberal-National Party led by Tony Abbott”, Ms Bird said.
New NBN roll-out sites include:
|Mt Pleasant||Mt Ousley|
|Russell Vale||Mt St Thomas|
